There are countless ways to style legal writing. In this blog, you will find various approaches to legal writing that I have found to be effective. Take it all with a grain of salt.

I hope some of this helps. Good luck!

Brief Answer

Your Brief Answer should begin with a simple “Yes” or “No” and should include a succinct, preferably one sentence, fact-based explanation of your reasoning.

If you do not feel comfortable answering "Yes" or "No" due to the nature of the facts, you could answer, "Probably" or "Probably not."

Several sentences may be necessary, but try to be as concise as possible.

Include mention of the more salient facts that relate to the legal issues involved to assist the reader in understanding your reasoning.
